In an article in the NY POST from June of 2018, Commissioner Michael Goldblum is quoted stating that the panel recently received “90 letters and emails in support, 42 letters expressing concern with the proposal, and the campaign of 329 emails in opposition to the proposal and pressing concerns regarding the process and regarding the loss of the music room.”
As of February 21, 2020, there are 7,382 signatures opposing the Frick’s proposal and countless letters which have been submitted to the BSA since March of 2019.
The Frick refuses to listen to the public’s concerns and proceeds with a plan that will destroy a monument and a neighborhood.
